Hello Good People. It's weekend and that period to rest and refresh. Working for over a half decade as human resource professional, I have come to understand that the dynamics of workplace keeps changing. This change affects how we define work, the meaning and interpretation of workplace terminologies and so on. From full time to part time job, Contract, Agency and so on, different concepts have been used to explain issues relating to the employees. In sum, workplace activities have been encapsulated in various concepts. Some of these concepts are now being adopted as the official jargon used for documentation and implementation purposes and their meanings too have changed over time. Some of concepts are: 1. Work Life Balance 2. Paternity Leave 3. B2B 4. Equity and inclusivity 5. Probation 6. C Suite 7. Reports 8. Cluster Lead 9. Group Lead 10. Gen Z There are several other concepts being used depending on the industry. More so, the interpretation of theseworkplace jargon is not mutually exclusive. These concepts present the beauty of the human mind that allows us to think and act in new, novel and unique way; a feature that makes us a superior homo sapien Sapien.
