Thank you so much to everybody who nominated a local Charity last month. Our July winner was St Elizabeth Hospice. We know that running a business is incredibly tough and sadly Charities across the region seem to be struggling more than most sectors. To celebrate our 11th year in business, Spider would like to support one Charity a month with a free recruitment advertising campaign to help them find their next Superstar! 🌟 As much as we would love to help every Charity with every role free of charge, we’re hoping that just a little Spider love could help ease some of the financial burden for charities who are recruiting. So please nominate your favourite local/regional charity in the comments below to be entered into the draw at the end of August! 🕷 Michelle Pollard Sophie Wood 🕷 Gail Shemming Nadia Al-Masud Emma Grace Emma Cherry Locksmith Charley Brooks

Ethical recruitment partner for the charity sector. Co-Founder of Fundraising Jobs and CEO at PSR Ltd
Sometimes we say no... It might sound odd but we will say no to taking on new clients, or 'not now'. Our reasons are simple - we give our all to the charities we work with whatever the role from briefing calls, searching, to interviewing - it takes a lot of time. Of course we want to help as many charities as we can find excellent fundraisers but by taking on too many jobs at once we can't give our clients the attention they deserve and we would get burnt out which would be rubbish. Thankfully our clients respect our decision and tell us so: "Well done as well for saying ‘no’ and making us wait! I think in our sector it’s often too easy to try and do it all, but then we lose the focus on our self-care and wellbeing. It’s good to see an organisation living out what it looks like to not take on too much!" Good things come to those that wait as they say! #ethicalrecruitment #charityjobs

Today it's the 5th step in our 5 step plan to get your fundraising firing on all fronts! (try saying that after a large G & T!) And it's the ultimate - it's legacy fundraising. Which should produce the best ROI of all your fundraising activity. But it’s a slow burner…you can’t just start calling supporters and ask them for a gift in their will. We plan and deliver campaigns which segment your donors and focus on their different needs to support them in understanding the importance of a gift being left in a will. We’ve even set up a specialist arm of our business with Persuasion- Charity Training and Legacy Consultancy Specialist to manage legacy fundraising – you can find out more on the link below. #legacyfundraising #fundraisingtips #legacygiving https://lnkd.in/gZa8cRGE

Face to face charity fundraisers are those that speak directly to members of the public to educate, inform and ask for monetary help. Charity Link fundraisers visit potential donors at their homes or chat to them at a variety of different pre-booked venues and events. The face to face fundraiser objective is to sign up long term, committed monthly donors or sign people up to lottery campaigns for as little as one pound a week. Having a predictable long term income is what helps our charity partners grow and ultimately do more for their beneficiaries. For every donor they acquire, their income increases and they help a charity get one step closer to its goal. Think this is a bit of you? Why not email our recruitment team today to find out more? recruitment@charitylink.net #charitylink #fundraisers #ukjob #jobuk
