Dear Network, Today marks my 5 year anniversary at Salesforce, the longest I have ever been with any company ⏳ . Salesforce is all about changing, adapting and creating and I do not lie when I say that there is never a dull moment - neither are there many easy days 😅 . Since 2006 I am loyal to my customer base - the EU institutions 🇪🇺 , later joined by NATO and after that by the Belgian Public Sector 🇧🇪 . Digital Transformation has shaped our private lives over the past years significantly and we start seeing a positive impact in the Government Sector - it is a privilege to be part of this journey. Some of the things in a career that IMO always hold true are: we always (always!) deal with people. Listening to and acknowledging the other person’s position is important. Trust is earned and integrity goes a long way. And as we deal from human to human, be yourself. Being yourself, myself in my case actually, comes with challenges too. With the realization that I really am bad at many things. With the realization that this is ok, as long as I communicate about my weaknesses with clients, colleagues and superiors. It also comes with the realization that after many years in business, regularly ‘muscle memory’ kicks in and one can trust oneself and one’s experience. And, very importantly: it’s OK to be not OK - supporting your team members is paramount. Asking for support is absolutely fine. Because a career is a marathon, not a sprint. Smell the roses every now and then 🌹. There are so many people at Salesforce I would need to mention here as you make my work rewarding and fun - so I keep it at (the slightly lame I know I know...) ‘You Know Who You Are’. However there are three individuals who made me boomerang back to Salesforce three years ago and I want to you to know that I never looked back! Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️ Amy Weaver, Casey Coleman and Kevin Paschuck! In conclusion (of my probably longest LinkedIn Post ever - but I am ready to stand corrected should you dig one up) I am grateful and happy to be part of Salesforce. Would I do it again? Hell yeah! TLDR: Andreas is 5 years at Salesforce and pretty stoked about it 🚀

I make it a point to celebrate every Salesforce certification, new job, and personal milestone I come across. Because sometimes, our inner self-confidence needs a little help, and that extra boost from others can make all the difference. Celebrating these moments publicly not only acknowledges the hard work and dedication of individuals but also fosters a sense of community. It creates a supportive environment where people feel valued and recognized. This encouragement can inspire others to strive for their own goals and share their achievements, creating a positive feedback loop of motivation and support. Moreover, in a world where negativity often dominates the headlines, spreading positivity through celebration can have a profound effect. It reminds us all to appreciate the good moments, no matter how small, and to support each other in our journeys. So, let's keep celebrating and lifting each other up—because sometimes, a little recognition from others is exactly what we need to keep pushing forward.

Celebrating my Salesforce 8-year anniversary! All thanks to Eric Berg and Zach Bailey for saying yes to bringing me on at Salesforce 8 years ago. Grateful to both of these incredible people... two key figures early in my career, and for their unwavering support through life's ups and downs. Celebrating 8 amazing years with Salesforce this week! 🎉 Worked alongside incredible colleagues, managers, and mentors who feel like family. Personal growth paralleled professional milestones. Maintaining work-life balance is paramount. Recently, I section-hiked 63 miles of the Appalachian Trail with my life partner 💕 – he has been an unexpected joy, strength, my other half, and my favorite adventure. The hike tested resilience and determination, teaching that challenges, at work and in life, are surmountable with grit and perseverance. 💪 At Salesforce, I experienced highs and lows, with Career Coaching as a game-changer. Aligning mind, body, heart, and soul transformed the work approach, making it more fulfilling and rewarding. 🚀 This journey transitioned from Salesforce Government Cloud in D.C. to Data and AI, particularly in Data Cloud. Excited about the endless possibilities and visibility this new path brings. Cheers to 8 years of growth and the milestones awaiting ahead! 🌟 #Salesforce #CareerGrowth #WorkLifeBalance
