Our team recently completed work at a property that took on heavy damage from a fireplace fire that hit the living room, exterior wall, ceiling, and landing area. Here's how things played out: 🚨Immediate Action: Cleared debris and wet materials and boarded up the property. 📦Packout: Sorted and saved salvageable items. 🧪Mitigation & Testing: Stressed the importance of mitigation and ran asbestos tests. 🛠️Demo & Cleaning: Used air scrubbers, removed attic insulation, HEPA vacuumed, and wiped down surfaces. 🙌Final Steps: Sealed framing and studs to eliminate smoke odor, prepping for reconstruction.
