These words perfectly encapsulate the mindset of a true leader. On his first day at Manchester United, Sir Alex was asked what he was going to do today and tomorrow. While many would have focused on the short-term goals, Sir Alex had his sights set on the bigger picture. He understood the importance of building a strong foundation for the future, even if it meant sacrificing short-term gains. This mindset is critical for success in any field. Whether you're a business leader, an entrepreneur, or a professional athlete, it's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind. But it's important to remember that every action you take today has an impact on your future success. So, take a page out of Sir Alex's book and focus on building a foundation for the future. Don't get bogged down by short-term setbacks or distractions. Stay focused on your long-term goals and take action today to make them a reality. Remember, never give in.

The new rules 📃 for JICL/Non-JICL and professional players were approved with a close majority as can be read in the articles of RTL https://lnkd.in/eDahYt_H or WORT https://lnkd.in/e642RArS. The new rules sparked quite a discussion amongst those active in Luxembourgish basketball 😵 - Some are happy 🤗 that bringing more quality via additional non-JICL players will help increase the level of the competitions (and hopefully also Luxembourgish basketball). - Others fear 😲 that clubs with richer sponsors will be able to bend the rules and get (unofficially) more professional players, leading to unequal competition. - And then there are those worried 😬 that less-performant Luxembourgish players would get even less playing time than before, leading to deterioration of Luxembourgish basketball... Opinions vary - the time will only show ⏲ Meanwhile in Telstar, our investments however small or big they may be, go and will go hand in hand with fair play. We are committed to bringing our players up from the bottom for the benefit of everybody - the players, the Club, the Luxembourgish basketball and society. And we believe that step by step we will succeed. 💪 🤍💙
