Baroness Sue Campbell has taken up her new role as Chair of the Board at England Netball. Her appointment was first announced last month (December 2024) and she will succeed Bridget Blow CBE in the role. Baroness Campbell retired from her role as Director of Women’s Football at The Football Association last year. After representing England in netball at under 21 level, Baroness Campbell has gone on to become one of the most recognisable and respected names within British sport, and a trailblazer within women’s sport. She joins England Netball at a time when the sport continues to thrive. Netball remains one of the most popular team sport for women in the country, with more than 850,000 players taking to court on a weekly basis and 3 million players participating every year.
