Axios: "The Sixth" aims to bring about a sense of catharsis, especially for locals.” For my fellow DC friends who don't want to relive that day... I can tell you that this documentary was done so well. And in the end, gives hope and rededication to why we all do what we do here in the nation's capital. I strongly encourage you to watch. https://lnkd.in/ga3YAiHT #THESIXTHmovie

Trafficking Truth What in the world are people who claim to be crusading against trafficking doing? To read things here, going to conferences, meetings, travelling to dinners, doing research, writing reports, living in nice little homes and driving Kias while they post here how great the after conference party was. I’m sorry to say all that, but just read anything about trafficking here. it’s what is said. I was born into a world of traffickers and trafficked people. I know what nobody here knows because people like me don’t go to conferences and write papers and hob-nob. And people here? They don’t read my posts? They don’t share them. They don’t comment. Why? Well, the above is the answer. But, if you want to understand what trafficking is about, and what to do about it, and your whole life isn’t about accollades for people giving some useless talk about useless studies and getting donations, then I will tell you that the way to help trafficking victims is to never be trafficked in the first place. You help trafficking victims most by stopping the traffickers — dead. I mean teams with weapons taking them out. We know who they are. When my mother was raped by her father at 12 (yes, I’m the victim of trafficking), finding out, he crossed my grandmother’s line. Want to know how she stopped him from then selling my mother? She put a .45 in his head. That stopped him. No meetings. No research. No conferences. No dinners. No Kias. Just one shot save hundreds of girls. My last mission in this life is to bypass all the nonsense of money spent on the absurd actions listed about and go right to families and parents and show them what has to be done — and how our government isn’t doing anything expect getting new Kias for the conference attendees. I am deep into making a movie called, “NOT TAKEN.” Think about that. Instead of “TAKEN. To be Not Taken. If you have a soul, any humanity, please watch me tell this story fully on IMDB. If not, you are part of trafficking. Traffickers count on the money going to things that will never stop trafficking like all here brag they are doing. Spend 11 MINUTES and HEAR THE TRUTH about trafficking and what to do by someone who no conference attendee ever did for my mother or me. Stop traffickers. The link on IMDB is at the movie “Not Taken” or directly at:

Keep crushing it, Joshua Harris! I’m often asked, “What business are you in—commercial real estate, hotels, real estate lending, development, operations or media finance?” My answer is simple: we’re in the mispriced risk business. Our focus is on creating and investing in sustainable, scalable businesses and opportunities that are mispriced to benefit our stakeholders. Fourteen years ago, we moved into private credit because it provided us with the best risk-adjusted outcomes. Now, we’re preparing to pivot into other areas with similar characteristics. We’re not a one-trick pony or a one-hit wonder. We’re building a platform that consistently leads the way forward for stakeholders who value well-thought-out strategies, downside protection and the ability to achieve outsized results. Lets keep finding the mispriced opportunities and crushing it! Public Domain Day Unleashes a Trove of Potential Horror Reworks for Filmmakers Each January 1st breathes new life into classic works as they enter the public domain, and this year, exploitation filmmakers are eagerly diving into the archives for their next horror masterpieces. The practice, dubbed ‘PD-sploitation’, has seen iconic characters from children’s literature to revered literary figures reimagined as figures of terror, exemplified by projects like the controversial “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.” https://lnkd.in/eidchmr6 #winniethepoohbloodandhoney #horrormovie
