Marvel has just released the trailer of "Captain America: Brave New World," which stars Anthony Mackie. This is the fourth iteration of Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And Mackie, of course, will star as Sam Wilson, who has made the change to the Captain America character as opposed to his longtime role of Falcon, who he was since "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." On the sidelines of my design thinking class with Ranjan sir, I got a ping for a new in-flight safety film by Air India Limited, which attempts to iterate basic concepts via an inventive communication journey. Kudos to the idea, but saw this With Air Canada's in-flight film last year. Last Summer, the Ejército del Aire y del Espacio, Luftwaffe - German Airforce and Armée de l’air et de l’espace took part on #PacificSkies24, an unprecedented month-and-a-half-long deployment across four continents. One of the exercises in which these nations participated, along with allied countries, was Pitch Black in Australia. Organised by the Royal Australian Air Force since 1981, Pitch Black is one of the world’s largest military air exercises. Never before has it been on a larger scale than this year’s, with 140 aircraft from 20 countries and more than 4,400 military personnel involved. The #Airbus #A330 MRTT, #A400M and #Eurofighter aircraft were integral to the mission, underscoring Europe’s commitment to the Indo-Pacific region, ensuring cooperation among partners in the region, enhancing joint operational capability and demonstrating the ability to enforce the principles of a rules-based international order in times of crisis. “Glad to be here” This weekend I saw the Blue Angels IMAX movie - it was shot by the same team who did Top Gun: Maverick. In other words, it was incredible. Some things you will notice if you watch this examination of a high preforming team in pursuit of perfection are: 1) They have a ritual of saying “Glad to be here” during both good and difficult circumstances like a debrief about something that wasn’t up to standard - good times or bad, they recognize the blessing and responsibility of being on the team 2) They debrief everything (in high definition). 3) Practice practice practice, reps reps reps. 4) The team puts a big focus on physical fitness 5) Imposter syndrome is real for almost everyone - even super cool, top tier, A Type aviators. Realizing it is the first step to managing it and pushing through towards owning your role. If you’re in StL be sure to see it at Saint Louis Science Center on the omnimax screen.
