From Office to…Hotel? Residential? Hybrid Spaces?   Innovation doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. There is so much value in seeing the potential in what’s already there and how you can work with it.   At Spratley & Partners, we secured planning permission to transform a 260,000 sq. ft. office in the heart of Victoria into a 700+ room hotel, complete with restaurants and a coffee shop. We worked with the head of Design and Conservation at the Council to enhance the experience of the building from street level, incorporating materials that were sympathetic to both the surrounding buildings and the wider context of the regeneration of the Victoria area.   This project also reflects a broader shift across the UK, where old, unused offices are being turned into exciting, flexible spaces like hotels. As the office market has changed, these conversions are meeting the growing demand for flexible, experience-focused spaces that cater to new ways of living and working.    If you’re interested in how reuse can work across different sectors, take a look at some of our other projects: https://lnkd.in/ey4SmFMk

This is going to be one impressive project! Evac has the perfect vacuum plumbing solution. Would love to discuss how we can avoid trenching, no pitch needed, our specialty are conversion projects. This fits the mold perfect!

Stephen Smith Great example of transforming unused offices into vibrant, functional spaces! The hotel project sounds impressive. Do you see this trend growing in other cities across the UK?
