This post depicts the people who represent the majority of our Developers and Owners of Multifamily properties - incredible people wanting to provide the best place to call home for the residents that live at one of their properties. They put years of thought time and livlihoods into developing and renovating apartment homes so people/ families can be proud of where they call home! Thank you Brad Richardson and all of our owners for what you do for our cities and people! There are not enough people that truly know how passionate you are about your developments! #thankyou #propertymanagement
There is something special about the first move-ins. 3.5 years of hard work leads to this moment. I always think about the families moving in and the memories they will have here, the joy of kids growing up here and the major milestones that will occur here for our residents. Even though these are buildings that we are building, it is so much more, it will be a home and a community for so many people. I’m grateful for our team and the hard work of so many people to get to this point.

Congrats to our friend Rocket on his Ted Talk "Vermont: The Value of Hardship" for TEDx Hartland Hill's series, The Art of Living! What a refreshing take on the inherent BENEFITS of hardship: innovation, accountability, and cooperation - these are KEY qualities of Vermont living! Here at BRIC in Springfield, we're acutely and continuously aware of the myriad of challenges that rural life presents in the face of our community development efforts. If we're being honest, the list of obstacles and setbacks we encounter day to day often feels endless - like pushing a boulder up hill (both ways!) in the snow. Anyone boots on the ground doing this type of work knows it's not for the faint of heart, and in fact we often joke that you have to be a certain sort of glutton for punishment in order to ever actually make any progress. We know what we're doing is difficult, and that we're pushing against the odds with the things we're trying to accomplish - and somehow this awareness actually BOLSTERS our determination. The spirit of resilience and ingenuity is STRONG in Vermont. It's an inherent part of our identity. Whether it's snowstorms, early frosts, catastrophic flooding, workforce and housing shortages, food insecurity, busted leaking pipes - whatever the hurdle, Vermonters SHOW UP. We imagine possibilities, we work together, and we GET SHIT DONE. In spite of the challenges, there's nowhere we'd rather be! We believe in the power of our communities, we root for the underdog, and we WILL prevail. Thanks for the food for thought, Rocket! And for all that you're doing to help affect positive change here in Vermont! **A Milestone in Transformation: Welcoming New Beginnings:** A few months back, I shared the tale of a house in Jacksonville, Arkansas, hit hard by a massive tornado. Big news today! Here’s the revised version with your addition: **A Milestone in Transformation: Welcoming New Beginnings:** A few months back, I shared the tale of a house in Jacksonville, Arkansas, that was hit hard by a massive tornado. Today, I have big news! **Restoration and a Fresh Start**: From Benton to a New Chapter in Jacksonville. We've just welcomed an amazing new tenant—a dedicated public healthcare worker and super mom of four. She’s starting her own life in this restored home, which feels like things are coming full circle. It’s more than fixing up walls—it’s about building resilience and backing those who care for our community. For those who might be wondering—yes, we did receive an offer to purchase the property at a particularly high profit. This transformation shows how deep our impact can go beyond just making money to creating real value in communities. Watch as we continue this journey of hope and fresh starts. Your support and engagement mean everything to us as we rebuild lives, not just buildings. #HopeRestoration #CommunityImpact #JacksonvilleRenewal #RealEstateWithPurpose

🌟 Spotlight on Community: The Heart of BLC Roofing 🌟 At BLC Roofing, our mission transcends beyond roofing. Rooted deeply in our core values is the spirit of "Community"—an unwavering commitment to uplift and enrich the lives within the neighborhoods we serve. It's not just about installing roofs; it's about constructing stronger, more resilient communities. Why do we spotlight our community initiatives? 1. Investing In People-Our journey has always been about more than just business growth. It's about nurturing a thriving community where everyone has the opportunity to grow, learn, and succeed. We take pride in taking 3-5 entry-level individuals to six-figure earnings annually, creating a ripple effect of prosperity and opportunity. 2.Service Above Self- Our commitment to service is at the forefront of what we do. Whether it's through our free roofing for those in need, future teen training trade programs, or our local business spotlights, we're here to serve, give back, and make a tangible difference. 3. Building Together- Every community spotlight is a testament to the power of collaboration. By highlighting local heroes, businesses, and initiatives, we're not just sharing stories; we're weaving a tapestry of community solidarity and support. 4. Inspiring Change- Through our actions and spotlights, we hope to inspire others to join us in making a difference. It's about sparking a movement of kindness, generosity, and community service that transcends our individual efforts. As we look forward to another year of growth, both as a company and as a community, we're reminded of the strength found in unity. Our spotlights are more than just moments of recognition; they are beacons of hope, showcasing the incredible impact we can achieve together. Thank you to every individual, family, and business that has been a part of this journey. Here's to continuing to build a stronger, more connected community—one roof at a time. #BLCRoofing #CommunityFirst #GivingBack #CommunitySpotlight

At Caring Transitions of Winston Salem, we understand that family legacies are more than just the possessions we leave behind—they're the stories, values, and time spent with those we love. Time, after all, is the only currency we spend without knowing its balance, and how we use it matters more than anything. As we help families downsize, relocate, or manage estates, we are mindful that every decision, every item, represents precious moments shared across generations. That’s why we are dedicated to supporting families with compassion, making sure that what truly matters—your time and memories—are treated with the care they deserve. Use your time wisely, and let us help you protect what matters most. #FamilyLegacy #CaringTransitions #TimeIsPrecious #DownsizingWithCare #EstatePlanning

Residents are shaping the budget—and the future—at the City of Austin. The City collected feedback using Polco's Prioritization tool, which allows residents to effortlessly rank their community priorities. Being the Program Director of Renewal House in Danbury is an impactful experience. Hope for the hopeless. Vision for those without vision. I always tell the residents of Renewal House, “There is safety in a multitude of good counsel.” Often, this good counsel comes from community-based services. In short, I am fulfilling my calling by helping those who have been beaten down by life’s circumstances. That they are not alone, that there is hope and vision for their future. It’s an honor to do this work, hard as it often is. We serve a diverse group of people: engineers, mothers, fathers, grandparents, individuals with early onset dementia, former business owners, and former homeowners. We encounter tragedies, losses, natural disasters, recovering addicts, and domestic violence victims. These are the people we serve. There is no fanfare in being the Program Director. No accolades or compensation can match the effort required to make a difference between merely surviving and truly thriving. The work involves advocating for housing, benefits, therapy, medical services, fostering community, and bringing laughter. Any experienced person can do that. But it’s a gift and an honor to impart hope, healing, vision, peace, and peace of mind; that’s what I get to do! Helping people so they can restore their lives and independence and believe in themselves again. May their latter years be greater than their former. ‘One life at a time.’ Maria Russo, Renewal House Program Director #CommunityCare #HopeAndHealing #RenewalHouse #ServingOthers #MakingADifference
