So WTF should you eat? It's so easy to overcomplicate eating. I'm a big fan of a variety and by keeping my food to these 4 categories I'm able to get in variety AND keep it really simple. Which one of these seems the easiest for you do? Soups – easy to add in plenty of veggies and protein Scrambles – same thing here many things go well with eggs Shakes – protein shakes are quick and easy. Just make sure you aren’t choosing shakes that are filled with artificial sweeteners and crap Salads – every day for lunch I eat a BAS (big ass salad) it’s where I get in all my veggies and it’s filling as hell #invincible40

Even something as simple as having chopped veggies ready can make sticking to healthy habits so much easier. Small steps - big impact. Chia seed pudding: 2 tbsps chia seeds, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1tbsp maple syrup, mix and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Top with fruit and/or nuts. Chopped raw veggies for kids lunches, smoothies, salads, or even as a snack with a dip. Simple and easy to nibble on the go - Cherry Oat Snack Balls INGREDIENTS 1 cup regular rolled oats 6 pitted Medjool dates, coarsely chopped 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter or almond butter 2 tablespoons orange juice 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup 1 tablespoon chia seeds ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon Pinch sea salt ½ cup dried tart cherries INSTRUCTIONS 1. Put the first nine ingredients (through salt) in a food processor; add lid. Turn it on and let it run until mixture sticks together. Add cherries through the feed tube; push the pulse button just until the cherries are evenly combined in the mixture. Use a spoon to transfer mixture to a bowl. 2. Use your hands to shape mixture into 1-inch balls (2 to 3 teaspoons for each ball). Place balls in a single layer in an airtight container; add lid. Store in the refrigerator up to 1 week or freeze up to 1 month.
