Hello, I’m Daniel Stonard, MBA CMgr 👋🏼, and I am a Business Development Director for SPS UK&I. My role is to work with clients that are at the beginning of their transformational journey, to help shape solutions that improve workplace services. This ranges from managing on-site mailroom and loading bays; large print and reprographics operations; front-of-house, meeting room and AV tech management; records and information management as a service and a combination of all of these…plus more! I’ve been at SPS for a little over 3 years now, and have really enjoyed my time here. My remit may have changed a bit during this time, but my goal to improve the way organisations work hasn’t. Some of you will know I have had a varied background, ranging from operations to leadership and now sales. My experience in all of these areas is something I am very proud of and I believe helps me in my role today. For those aspiring to pursue a similar career, my top tips are: ✅ Embrace continuous learning – in any form. ✅ Build your network. ✅ Be resilient. Today may not be your day, but if you keep working someday will. ✅ Work hard. Outside of work, I am married to Beth a primary school teacher, and have 2 young boys Ezra (6) and Dougie (8 months). Ezra is football mad, and loves Aston Villa – he also trains with various academies, 4-5x a week, so football is an overwhelmingly big part of my life. Dougie’s hobbies include sleeping and eating…for now. For me, I am a massive petrolhead and enjoy anything with an engine, so car shows and rallies are a staple part of my weekends. As a family, we love travelling to different places – this was Dougie’s first trip abroad, to the beautiful isle of Menorca. #TeamSPS #LinkedInTakeover

Hey Daniel! Thank you for introducing yourself and sharing your career tips. Motors and more specifically automobiles have been a weekend staple of mine ever since I can remember. Being that I am from Seattle Washington I’ve always been interested in 1950s through 1980s Chevrolets. However, I definitely have a deep appreciation for all the amazing automobiles the UK has to offer with triumph, MG and Lotus being among my favorites. Is there a particular automobile or manufacturer you would say is your favorite?
