Has Trulieve JUMPED THE SHARK? 🏄♂️🦈 If you were already en route to the beach late last week you may have missed this HUGE announcement… "Trulieve Announces Partnership with Professional Pickleball Association and Major League Pickleball" The MSO has inked a sponsorship agreement for pickleball events in Arizona, Florida, and Georgia… 😂 Is THIS where Trulieve should be spending shareholder dollars for promotion and customer acquisition?? Class, I'm torn. On the one hand, I'm forever dubious about the strategy of spending heavily far from your stores. Particularly since 2 of the 3 states are currently medical. That being said, Pickleball is fastest-growing sport for the third straight year with ~14M players in the U.S.... And many are 55+ and injury prone, which could make them the perfect target market. Also, the sport is more fun and less serious than others. I could see Karen pop an edible and dink it up for a bit. But I want to know what YOU think: — Is this as a good use of funds? — Is this a prudent marketing decision? — Are we excited that PICKLEBALL is endorsing cannabis? — Is this a step on the way to the NFL/MLB/NBA or WWF?
