the past year we've been on a journey with folks leaning into, learning and building our systems leadership capability. in our program information session, co-director Dana Shen and i share some of our emerging insights. as i compiled these, what struck me was the simplicity of the wisdom. while we live in immense complexity, the principles that guide our practice are simple, but we must practice them, activate them, live them. to build and enact our systems leadership we see... - there are times when we can have very, very different views about thing, but how important it is to have a general sense of goodwill and well-being, wishing for others - when the space is created for those that don't have power in different systems, there is a magic that unfolds because these systems that were blind and couldn't hear properly, they suddenly hear, they suddenly can see something very different and then they can change - how important and deeply interconnected we are with nature and the rest of this beautiful planet and universe, and that can teach us and sustain us - that holding this special little container in space where people can operate differently and to practice differently and practice to gain confidence in being and working differently. it's just so fundamental to all of this whole theory of change for systems leadership - just how much we need each other in this work. because it can be lonely and isolating. so where can we just be in space with like-minded individuals to be reminded about what is beautiful in this practice. what the intention is of this practice, and... to kind of hold each other up as we walk this difficult terrain, each on our own journey - and of course systems moves slowly. while patience is a part of it, we can be excited, appreciative, enthusiastic and want to be in a journey that is constantly unfolding, that there are always more opportunities. this week registrations opened for our 2025 program, and we would love for you to join us. https://lnkd.in/eYJ35dKS
