For members of the Forum for Naturals, it's not just a photo; it's the prelude to the party in a box! 🎉 📦 Feast your eyes on the annual ritual of packing our member sample boxes! What's the deal with these boxes, you ask? Remember when we all played hide-and-seek with the outside world during COVID? A lightbulb moment occurred that led to the birth of virtual meet-ups for natural CPG marketers and sustainability leaders. These virtual meetups started developing a community that has resulted in what is now the #ForumforNaturals. From those first Zoom meetings sprouted the idea of swapping sample boxes – because nothing says "I care" like sharing your favorite natural foods and snacks while the world is on standby. One of the things we love about Tuesday Coffee Club is that they are all different! Often a different mix of people, always different questions! Yesterday we were asked about Lounge by the Sea, our first in-person event taking place in Deal, Kent on Thursday 9th May. The event will include networking opportunities with your peers, morning and afternoon sessions covering filling and maintaining your sales pipeline, dominating your digital space, and bringing your mojo to your messaging, including interactive exercises, pre-day packs, micro-courses and guides for you to take away, and access to industry leaders. One member was cat-sitting for their family and kept disappearing to stop them clawing their furniture 😹 We love the fact that when a member asks a question, we all dive in to try and help them. If no one has an answer we all pop onto Google to see if we can work it out. Is anywhere as helpful as a room full of VAs? 😂 💡 TOP TIP 💡 When answering an advert/social post and the details are a little sparse, ask for more information (sometimes the labels we give ourselves limit our own thoughts on our abilities). For example, a post says "Help - need a tech VA". Ask them: 👉 What are you looking for a Tech VA to do? 👉 What software are you looking at using? 👉 What is your budget? "How you do something is how you do everything." Yesterday we were lucky enough to be invited to Braze's event City X City in London yesterday and it was a masterclass in putting on events. Some of the things Joe Glover and I noticed: ✅ Arrival - Clear signage, good coffee, friendly faces welcoming you. ✅ Agenda - A QR code on your badge took you to a clear events table so you knew what to go and see and when. ✅ Another QR code - To share details easily with the people you met ✅ Food - So often these events have dry sandwiches and limp salad. Not this event. Great food and snacks all day 👌 ✅ Meeting rooms and spaces - Having a place to have deeper conversations was a genius move. ✅ Great speakers - We're spoilt running The Marketing Meetup, but a standout talk from Amy Clark (who has an extremely cute dog!). Great speakers can leave a lasting memory. And the reason all of this is important is because if Braze can think about little details in a day like this, then the chances are they've thought about the tiny details in their customer engagement platform too.
