Job Title: Chemical Treatment Technician Salary & Rotation: TBC Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and apply chemical treatments to various systems and equipment such as water injection , Oil &Gas systems, and pipelines. 2. Conduct regular water quality testing and analysis to assess parameters such as pH levels, alkalinity, hardness, corrosion rates, and microbial growth. Collect samples and perform lab tests to ensure with standards and adjust chemical treatment programs as needed. 3. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of chemical treatment equipment such as pumps, meters, injection systems, and analyzers. Ensure equipment is in good working condition to accurately and safely apply chemical treatments. 4. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to chemical treatment systems, chemical dosing equipment, and treatment processes. Investigate and resolve problems such as excessive corrosion, scaling, fouling, or microbial growth. 5. Maintain accurate records of chemical treatment activities, including dosages, test results, and operational parameters. Generate reports summarizing treatment effectiveness, system performance, and any deviations from established protocols. 7. Coordinate with other team members, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize chemical treatment programs. Communicate effectively to convey treatment recommendations, provide updates on system performance, and address any concerns or issues. 8.Should have a good experience in installing & Retrieving coupons. 9.Should demonstrate good knowledge on writing comprehensive reports after every monitoring survey. Qualifications: 1. A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional technical training or certifications in water treatment, chemistry, or related fields are advantageous. 2. Excellent knowledge on chemical treatment principles, such as corrosion inhibition, scale control, microbial control, and water conditioning. Understanding of different treatment methods and the factors influencing treatment effectiveness. 3. Proficiency in conducting water quality tests, interpreting test results, and adjusting treatment programs accordingly. Ability to use testing equipment, meters, and lab instruments. 4. Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting related to chemical dosing systems, pumps, valves, and analyzers. Skill in performing routine maintenance tasks and calibration procedures. 5.Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures when handling chemicals and working with treatment equipment. 6. Ability to accurately measure and mix chemicals, and record data. Attention to detail in monitoring system performance, identifying anomalies, and taking corrective actions. 7. Effective written and verbal skills to document activities, write reports, and communicate with team members and stakeholders.
