Steppe Gold Ltd (TSX:STGO, OTCQX:STPGF) senior vice president and chief financial officer Jeremy South joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the company’s progress in integrating Boroo Gold following the completion of its acquisition in August 2024. The Mongolia-based miner announced a combined production of 17,773 ounces of #gold from its two operating mines in the third quarter of 2024. The company reaffirmed its guidance for the second half of 2024, expecting production to reach the higher end of its forecasted range of 30,000 to 35,000 ounces, with a specific target of 33,360 ounces. Steppe Gold has also maintained its 2025 production guidance of 80,000 ounces of gold. The company also highlighted operational efficiencies, stating that its integration teams have identified cost savings through bulk purchasing and optimisation of operations by sharing best practices. Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties plc, discusses FY23 results, offtake milestones and catalysts to boost shareholder returns in FY24. Watch the full interview ▶️ https://lnkd.in/eNkb6YnX Trident Royalties Plc (AIM: TRR, OTC: TDTRF), the diversified mining royalty company, has announced an offtake milestone by one of its key portfolio constituents, and discusses its FY23 results to 31 December 2023. Trident holds a 2.50% Net Smelter return royalty over ASX-listed Anson Resources’ lithium projects in the Paradox Basin. It’s a direct beneficiary of Anson’s (ASX: ASN) potential offtake agreement with lithium-ion battery maker LG Energy Solution, which is also considering an investment into the Australian listed enterprise. Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties explains that offtakes of this nature and the scope for projects to expand are value catalysts for Trident shareholders and ones that come free of charge. "We don't have to pay any more for that royalty. We own it. It's hard not to post about the Shohei Ohtani 50/50 ball...it involves ownership challenges getting in the way of an #auction, plus I was with my 13 year old whose head almost exploded when it was hit. ⚾ 🤯 A judge denied the request of an 18-year-old claiming to own the ball, to temporarily halt the auction. 👨🏼⚖️ So the online auction will continue... I can't tell how the auction will shake out given this...whether the adage of "any publicity is good publicity" will prevail and this will give a boost to the offering, or whether potential buyers may hold off on bidding given the risk that this is held up in litigation. Typically I don't like ownership issues muddying the waters of auctions I'm running. See, e.g., Hale & Hearty, where a "rogue" soupmaker took the recipes and trade names, used them, and the bankruptcy trustee overseeing the Hale & Hearty bankruptcy had to go to bankruptcy court to get them back. 🍲🥗🥪 But this feels different, and so I think the publicity is likely to drive value. (Just to get into the weeds a little, interestingly, there originally was a buy-it-now price of $4.5M. That's now been removed.) For those who want to follow the auction see here:
