When I search for baseball equipment for my son or tickets to upcoming MLB games, Savannah Bananas Google Ads and PPC campaigns don’t pop up. 💭 Yet I am dreaming of the day my husband and I can bring our son to a game. This is the power of your brand. This is the might of earned. This is the movement created by social. https://lnkd.in/g4uNkxV8 Aaron Nesmith was the 14th Pick in 2020 NBA Draft. He played 2 Seasons in Boston before he was traded to the Indiana Pacers. While Nesmith showed glimpses of his talent in Boston, the general consensus was that he was a bust. For the better part of two years, Nesmith stood in the corner. His job was to defend and wait for catch and shoot 3 Point Opportunities. But as he's shown since arriving in Indiana, he is more than a Catch and Shoot 3 Point Shooter and a Defender. Unfortunately for Nesmith, he wasn't allowed to explore other aspects of his ability because the Celtics had two prominent wing scorers in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. This meant that each of the 100 possessions the Celtics had per game revolved around Tatum and Brown. As a result, Nesmith never received the opportunity to explore other parts of his game. Here was a Traditional Small Forward who was asked to become a 3 and D Archetype in the mold of Bruce Bowen. Bowen if you remember was a very limited offensive player. This begs the question, are we developing players correctly in the NBA. Is Sole Entrepreneurship detrimental to developing the Team and Individual Players? To an extent what happened to Aaron Nesmith in Boston is also happening to Josh Green in Dallas. What are the Educational, Health, or Economic Benefits to these Players and their Families for that kids uncompensated participation in any additional “NON-SCHOLARSHIP” private third-party postseason football games that pay the Universities and the Conferences for the use of their free labor to put on these highly profitable Bowl events. The answer is ZERO! These additional 1-5 POSTSEASON games are also above the Players’ 12 game athletic scholarship agreement? Our Proposal offers Major Benefits in all three Categories to the Players and their Families! Scholarship Football Players are owed Hundreds of Millions of dollars from this year’s Media contract that uses these Players’ Name, Image, and Likeness NIL without any equitable financial consideration to the Players or their Families! This lost Money could have a major impact on these Players lives, the lives of their current and future family members for generations? We do not support, or agree with the House vs NCAA Settlement or the current covert attempts to extend and expand this Antitrust exploitation of our young (mostly minority) FB & BB Players' labor that the US Supreme Court and Federal District Court have recently struck down as illegal and implausible.
