New to the idea of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy? Here’s a couple of tips to make sure you get the most out of the process: -Find a PT who has experience with your condition -Ask questions about your potential therapists background, treatment plan, any special equipment you may need, the length of your treatment, and costs -Make notes about where you are feeling pain, and what movements cause it -On your first session, make sure to bring a list of medicine you may be taking -Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, even on your first visit. You may be given exercises to do at home, and your therapist will want to see you do it to ensure you are using correct form. Entering the road to recovery can be a daunting process, but if you follow these tips and believe in yourself, you’ll be back to feeling like your old self in no time! #PelvicHealthPioneers #BaltimorePelvicPT #NealWellnessCommunity #PikesvillePT #WomenWellnessWarriors #PelvicFloorFreedom #HolisticPelvicCare #JoinTheWellnessJourney
