AIPROG journey: - Starting from level 1 to level 3 in last two years.

Just had another enriching experience in my MC6372 class! 💫 Yesterday's session featured an engaging classroom activity - a 1v1 negotiation exercise. I must admit, during this negotiation, my focus was solely on accomplishing my task, without any intention to forge a relationship with my counterpart. My approach was admittedly rigid, making the atmosphere quite tense for the other negotiator, who described me as "impervious". It was only when Catherine asked, "Who managed to build a relationship in this negotiation?" that I realized I had completely overlooked this aspect. Reflecting on the experience, I've come to understand that even though I scored well in the negotiation, this doesn't equate to a healthy collaboration, nor does it foster long-term relationships... This lesson has been a powerful reminder of the balance needed between achieving objectives and nurturing relationships in negotiations.
