In the previous lectures of the System Design Workshop, we have learned about the core concepts, patterns, and theories of system design and conducted a case study on the URL Shortener System. In today's lecture, we will do a case study on a social media platform, Twitter. The link to the video will be provided in the comment box. But before watching the lecture, take a moment to think about the social media platform—how it can be created. Then, when you study the case in the lecture, your attention and learning will be enhanced, and your understanding will be stronger. If you like the video, don’t forget to share it with your friends. Stay tuned to Stack Learner for more informative content like this. Video Link: https://lnkd.in/gdtyka3V #SystemDesign #TechLearning #CaseStudy #URLShortener #TwitterCaseStudy #StackLearner

Controversy and sensationalism get the most attention. In a TikTok-ified algorithmic world, all content needs to be thumbstopping to get reach. Even on LinkedIn and Twitter, nuanced quality educational content loses to polarizing attention-bait and controversy every time. As this type of content gets more normalized, we all become more polarized and our echo chambers get tighter and more isolated. I don't know how to fix or stop this. What can we do to fix this?

Being socially awkward naturally spills over into social media for me. I’ve struggled to fit in and find my tribe, but that’s never stopped me from trying. Here’s what I’ve learned from my social media journey: 1. Compliments are nice, but providing value and insights is what builds trust. 2. Vulnerability is important, but too much can come across as seeking pity. 3. Posting constantly isn’t effective—quality over quantity. 4. Know your audience, and make sure they know who you’re speaking to. 5. Building an email list should be a key goal. 6. Don’t be afraid to cringe at old content—growth comes from reflection. I’m combing through my old posts for insights. Expect more content soon—this time with a focus on providing real value. #SocialMediaStrategy #ContentCreation #BuildingTrust #PersonalGrowth
