One problem with working on timing is that timing changes with speed, often dramatically. There’s no ‘right’ timing. It’s dependent on the situation. To help swimmers learn to manage and control timing, three options come to mind. 1. Descending (tight or steep) 2. Building 3. Alternating speeds By asking for variations in speed, they have to figure out how to manipulate their timing and still perform. If swimmers can learn effective timing at a range of speeds, they’re likely to be able to make it happen.

Four months into recovery and reaching a significant milestone! One month after ditching the crutches, I've been mastering the art of walking again and now progressing to running. Limited to one-minute intervals on flat ground, I focus on refining my running technique, keeping my heel off the ground and balancing solely on the balls of my feet for optimal absorption and knee protection. This is the POC of my new running version, and precision and learning on the go are are key in this process. Next up, aiming for MVP status by September. #RecoveryMilestone #RunningJourney #developmentprocess
