Did you know that the benefits your work pays for aren't always paid in full?? Here's what I mean ⬇️ ⬇️ Every week I review clients employer benefits packages. In doing so, most people don't understand how their financial insurances work. For example, you may have 60% LTD (long-term disability coverage) that your employer pays for. Great, but how is that benefit paid out? The employer pays the insurance premium making the benefit TAXABLE, lowering the NET benefit well below "half of your paycheck".
