A year ago, a single phone call transformed the way we celebrate identity, culture, and belonging. It was the spark that ignited the Patka Box™️ movement, and from that moment, everything changed. Schools, recreational centres, libraries, summer camps, and beyond opened their doors to a resource that wasn’t just about educating—it was about honouring the beauty of who Sikhs are. Reflecting on that call, I’m filled with awe. What started as a simple idea became a wave of inclusion and respect, touching countless lives. It showed me that sometimes, all it takes is one moment of courage to create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond what you could have imagined. This movement is more than just boxes filled with resources; it’s a symbol for every child who wears a Patka, reminding them that their identity is sacred, their story is important, and they are seen. The Patka Box™️ has made its way into spaces where understanding and acceptance continue to grow, and this is just the beginning. I can’t help but feel that Waheguru has guided this entire journey, and with each step forward, I know there’s more love, learning, and impact ahead. Let’s continue to uplift and inspire, knowing that the smallest moments can lead to the biggest change. WE ARE DIFFERENT IN OUR SKILLS AND CAPACITY, USE IT TO LEAVRAGE NOT SHAME: Yes, people may often perceive monetary goals based on their own skills, capacities, and experiences. For example, someone who has achieved success in a particular field may encourage others to pursue similar paths, believing that their skills and capacities can lead to financial success. Additionally, individuals may project their own capabilities onto others, assuming that what worked for them will also work for someone else. However, it's important to recognize that everyone's skills, capacities, and circumstances are unique, so what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. #IndividualGoals #UniqueCapacities #EmbraceDiversity #PersonalizedSuccess #PerspectiveMatters

Growing up with Yakshagana as a part of my life has been an incredible experience🌟 Day 21/25 . . This is how it has played an important role in my development as a child: ✨Enhanced Creativity & Imagination: Yakshagana’s vivid storytelling and dramatic performances sparked my imagination, allowing me to explore new worlds, characters, and ideas. It taught me how to think creatively and embrace the power of expression. 🌍Cultural Awareness: By immersing myself in Yakshagana, I gained an appreciation for India’s rich cultural heritage. I learned about mythology, history, and the moral lessons embedded in these traditional performances. 💡Developed Emotional Intelligence: The powerful emotional expressions in Yakshagana helped me understand complex feelings and build empathy. It allowed me to connect with characters on a deeper level and gave me the tools to navigate my own emotions. 🤝 Teamwork & Collaboration: Yakshagana performances often involve working with others and promoting teamwork. These interactions helped me develop strong relationships and interpersonal skills. Introducing children to Yakshagana, or any traditional art form, equips them with life skills that go beyond the classroom 🎭 It nurtures well-rounded individuals who appreciate art, culture, and the importance of connecting with their roots. Yakshagana has not only enriched my childhood but has shaped the way I approach life. I’m grateful for the lessons it continues to impart! Let’s encourage our younger generations to experience and participate in these beautiful art forms that can have a lasting impact on their growth and development 🌱 #childdevelopment #lifeskills #rootsandculture #linkedinforcreators #rakshaprabhu

A woman is a power, a nurturer. The world starts with a woman, and if the same woman takes the form of Durga, she can also destroy everything. Apart from nurturing her family and taking care of household work, it is important for her to become self-reliant and financially independent. Ekal Abhiyan works for women's empowerment and providing skill education helps to make them independent. https://lnkd.in/gJYyxsDR

From Clothes to Confidence. Ever thought it wouldn't take a professional coach to spark a change? That's exactly what happened in my village! My mission started simply to make girls feel confident in sportswear. But as I connected with them, a passion for Kabaddi, our traditional sport, ignited a fire. Building trust wasn't easy. Different perspectives from the girls and their parents required patience and understanding. Let's just say, my confidence wasn't always at "coach" level, especially when facing one particularly enthusiastic dad who wasn't a fan of his daughter playing Kabaddi. But three things became my guiding principles: • Politeness: Respectful communication goes a long way, especially when bridging cultural divides. • Confidence (even in the face of skeptical dads): Projecting self-belief inspires trust. Even if I wasn't a pro, my enthusiasm for Kabaddi was contagious. • Trust: Earning their trust was paramount. It meant listening to their concerns and involving them in the journey. Today, these girls are not just rocking their sports attire; they're rocking the Kabaddi court! It's a testament to the power of community and the potential that lies within our villages. #RuralEmpowerment #Kabaddi #ChhalangSportsFoundation #RuralSportsDevelopment #GirlsWhoPlay #BuildingConfidence CHHALANG SPORTS FOUNDATION
