Micro-credentials should be more than “just a badge.” They should be a signal of real expertise. Our partners at CarolinaCrED do critical work to align every educator micro-credential they issue with competencies that directly tie practice to standards for teaching and learning. This is what it looks like when innovation is made practical and possible.

When I present to 3 Enrollment Marketing, Inc. partner institutions, I tell them they could use LinkedIn's document posts to post their viewbook or a brochure that explains why people should attend. It isn't a cool platform, and most people want to be where the kids are. But this platform is where the high school admins are, and this can be a useful tool for telling the story of a school. Check out this post below to see how LinkedIn elegantly posts a PDF. This isn't cutting-edge. But it can matter.

I provide administrative services by facilitating optimal workflow to stakeholders throughout the project management processes on design for health & wellness while expanding UMC within West Texas & Eastern New Mexico.
Some employers offer assistance & resources for higher education. BUT, how many employers offer free GED & ESL resources, especially onsite for employees? Seeing this post has made my day & further solidify why I choose to work for UMC. Lowering barriers & making education accessible helps create (better levelling & elevating) opportunities for employees. 😊
Please join us in congratulating Abbey Delozier, Irma Flores, and Destiny Garcia on their recent graduation from the GED Program! The partnership between UMC and Literacy Lubbock provides no-cost educational opportunities, including General Education Diploma (GED) and English as a Second Language (ESL) resources for our employees. UMC is the first employer to offer on-site classes through Literacy Lubbock, with sessions scheduled during shift changes to make attendance easier.

2023 for me was a year of personal growth and professional development. The highlight of the year were courses in Strategic Decisions and Risk Management through UT’s Texas Executive Education program. Looking forward, I’m excited about continuing my learning and improvement journey in 2024 by focusing on building awareness and applying the processes and behaviors that promote improved decision making both at work and at home to ensure Decision Quality. What will you be learning about in 2024 to continue your personal/professional growth? #DecisionQuality #leadershipdevelopment #MitigatingBiases #strategicdecisionmaking #continuouslearning #criticalthinking
It was a wonderful year at Texas Executive Education. Congratulations to all our program participants and those who received certificates this year!

Yesterday in Washington, DC, CAAHEP President Donald Balasa, JD, MBA, delivered an enlightening session on "Beyond Gainful Employment: Other Title IV Rule Revisions that Impact Quality and Eligibility" at the prestigious CHEA/CIQG Annual Conference. The landscape of higher education and the implications of Title IV of the Higher Education Act (HEA) are evolving, and Balasa's talk shed light on crucial changes every professional program must be aware of. Key takeaways include: -Ensuring graduates are eligible for mandatory state licensing/certification exams. -Avoiding the inclusion of courses that are unnecessary for meeting state licensing/certification requirements. For students to benefit from Title IV assistance, these stipulations underscore the dual necessity for compliance and quality in the curriculum of our professional programs. This conversation is vital for maintaining the integrity of our educational frameworks. Join the dialogue and share your perspectives on how these revisions may shape the future of professional education!
