🚀 Why I founded my company…Visionary or Integrator? A few years ago, I read Rocket Fuel by Gino Wickman, and it changed how I think about leadership. 🔭Visionaries have the big, bold ideas. They’re the “what’s next” people. ⚙️Integrators are the completer finishers, the deliverer. The make sure the train runs on time so the Visionary can stay in their zone of genius. If you’re a Visionary, you need someone (or learn the skills) to turn ideas into reality. If you're an Integrator, you need someone (or learn the skills) to build the vision. I naturally an Integrator but I've learnt how to be a Visionary. That’s why I founded my company, We Deliver Your Vision. The best way I've found to translate Visionary's strategy into Integrator's execution is a balanced scorecard. Goals transform from ideas to “let’s make this happen.” Teams get aligned. Revenue goes up. Stress goes down. Angus Nelson and I had a great conversation about this on his latest podcast - check it out! Are you a Visionary or an Integrator? #innovation #technology

When interviewing, look for people who are humble, hungry, and smart. Patrick Lencioni is a gifted leader and communicator who specializes in high-performing teams. In this video he shares three attributes to hire for. Humble people are more comfortable with sharing the credit than taking it. Hungry people go above and beyond. The minimum isn't good enough for them. And interpersonally smart people can say things in such a way that doesn't ruffle feathers. #peoplemattermost #interviewing #talentaquisition #hrconsulting

Humble Hungry Smart How does your team stack up to these 3 attributes? If you know me- you know I'm a huge fan of Patrick Lencioni books especially The Ideal Team Player. This simple (but not easy) framework can help in finding and keeping the ideal team players for your company. There are many other books that he wrote that can also help guide you in some best practices in thinking about who is in the right seat and wants to #DoTheWork
