but both can be called dinner."
~ Keith Cunningham
The Road Less Stupid
Keith’s point?
Both serve a purpose,
But they’re two very different experiences.
A chili cheese dog might feed you:
It’s fast, convenient, and easy.
But best option?
❌ Probably not.
The same goes for investing.
Many go straight to stocks.
The chili cheese dog of investments.
Why?
Just like a hotdog, they’re:
- Easy and Accessible
- Jump in line with your $5 and you're in
- No reservation or dress code required
But just like chili cheese dogs,
Easy and accessible ≠ Best option
Stocks can be:
❌ Volatile
❌ Unpredictable
❌ You have little to no control
So, what’s the five-star equivalent of investing? 🍣
For many, including the ultra-wealthy, it's
-> Alternative Investments.
💠 Ex: Real Estate Syndications.
These private investments can offer:
✅ Outsized returns
✅ Tax advantages
✅ More Stability
