Starbucks continues to bring the energy this summer. ⚡ Together with Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging, we're installing high-power electric vehicle chargers at 100 U.S. Starbucks locations. This collaboration expands Starbucks EV charging network, all part of the company's efforts to bring renewable energy and clean technology to more communities. What a waste! Sorry Partners, they can't give you raises or remodel your stores, but they can install electric vehicle chargers. Goodness gracious, y'all are losing the plot.
I am extreamly disappointed they do not put the sleeve on grande level drinks. Do they think the coffee is not as hot in a grande as a vente
I’ve just returned from a road trip in an electric vehicle from Seattle to New York and back. +6,000 miles on electrons. We were able to do so without any major gaps in charging. As we fill in all major routes with additional charging options, anxiety over these road trips with decrease for everyone.
Now that's watt I'm talking about.
We often travel longer distances in our Model Y, predominately in CA. We often "add to route" in the Tesla onscreen mapping, to see if there is a Starbucks near a charging destination, and/or alter the computed route to instead recharge near a Starbucks. i.e. EV charging + Starbucks = energy for both car and occupants! Thanks MB!
Caffeine and kilowatts? A perfect blend! Cheers to a productive and innovative partnership expanding the EV charging network.
Brilliant. For remote workers like myself, I spend 10-12 hours a week at a coffee shop. The ability to get a charge during that time will be so convenient!
That's a great partnership. Charge your car while you grab a cup of coffee. ☕️⚡️
Amazing move here. The 15-20 minutes of charging will be perfect for a frappachino and cake pop.

3moIf I owned a coffee chain, becoming a Charge Point Operator (CPO) Would be an absolute no brainer. I love what Starbucks is doing here. On the other end, if I was opening a new coffee shop, I would put it as close to a public DC Fast Charger as possible. Many people that are unfamiliar with EVs or public charging are still caught in a mindset where they think people drive EVs like gas vehicles - Charge the battery, drive it until it gets close to zero, and then find a charger to refill. This is far from reality. It is the wrong way and will never work. No one wants to go to a gas station and sit for 30 minutes to an hour with no amenities. Chargers need to be located at places that people are going to be rather than between the places that people are going to be. Coffee breaks typically last 30 minutes to an hour. This is ideal. Good on Starbucks and Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging. As soon as you guys start adding chargers to locations in DFW, I will be rerouting my coffee breaks 100%
