Let the games begin! ⭐🎖️The Starlight Express Room was full of Aussie pride and excitement when former Olympian and Sunrise presenter Matt Shirvington stopped by to brighten the day of seriously ill children! 💜 With the 2024 Paris Olympics in full swing, it was only right that the children challenged Matt to some Olympic-themed fun and games. There were plenty of smiles and friendly competition… a wonderful source of positive distraction for sick kids doing it tough in the hospital.

I love this video that highlights our commitment to going the extra mile—something deeply rooted in a profound historical context. The concept originates from Jesus's Sermon on the Mount, where he advised, “If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two.” This directive was a radical call to shift focus from one’s own grievances to the needs of others, even in the face of oppression. This teaching was revolutionary. Jesus addressed people who were under Roman rule and were compelled to carry soldiers' gear for one mile. His message was to transcend personal rights and grievances, and instead, offer kindness and generosity, even to those who might be perceived as adversaries. In our daily interactions, whether with colleagues, clients, or anyone else, this principle encourages us to move beyond mere compliance. By consistently choosing to go that extra mile, we cultivate a culture of exceptional service and dedication. When this becomes our standard practice, it’s not just about meeting expectations but about redefining them. Our commitment to going the extra mile becomes a fundamental part of who we are. It fosters trust, builds lasting relationships, and sets a high standard for excellence that is expected and valued by everyone we engage with. Ultimately, embracing this approach means our dedication to excellence is ingrained in everything we do, continuously setting and surpassing new benchmarks.

Whilst the UK football season is over for the time being – many people will still be tuning into the international tournaments that will be played during the Summer. Stadiums are unique in their design as they have multi-faceted functions to accommodate games, players, their corporate market and, of course, the fans. Match days are vast logistical operations that require much planning and a robust security and evacuation plan to be in place to ensure everyone’s safety. Audio is a huge part of how a stadium operates especially when dealing with crowds that have designated areas allocated to them. Being able to give clear voice directions ensures staff can control crowd movement both at ingress and egress points and well as have management in the event of an emergency. Installing a public address and voice alarm system gives you many options for providing zones in different areas where you can replay music, pre-recorded messages or deliver live announcements. Visit our projects pages to read more about stadia installations. https://ow.ly/VgZw50Se94u #sportssound #stadia #speakers #audio #football

'How Breaking at the Paris Olympics will *actually* be judged' In this easy-to-understand video, we breakdown the judging criteria for the Breaking (or 'Breakdance') competition at the Paris Olympics. There will be examples showcasing the individual criteria using only Breakers who have qualified to compete at the Games, too! It's widely thought, in the Breaking community, that the 'Trivium' system is being used, but actually, there is a Trivium-inspired system that is in place. We outline that in this video. If you find it useful, please circulate and enjoy ^_^
