Imagine being able to generate 60 new design ideas per second per building, and to do it while you are there in full scale. This is still unheard of in the industry, but is something which I made possible in 2021 at Antler for Møller Eiendom with excellent help from Ronny Junge-Larsen. :3

When Donald Hackett first encountered synthetic marble while working on skyscrapers in Australia, he couldn’t have imagined that this material would become the foundation for a family business nestled in the green hills of County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Since its founding, Classic Marble (Showers) Ltd has become more than just a workplace - it’s a cornerstone of the local community, providing jobs and creating award-winning products that have reached homes across the UK, Europe, and now the United States. From the very beginning, Classic Marble earned the trust of bathroom installers in Ireland thanks to its meticulous craftsmanship. Every shower tray was, and still is, handcrafted and rigorously inspected, ensuring quality that professional #plumbers and #installers can rely on. As time passed and mass production swept through the industry, Donald refused to compromise on quality. Instead, he refined his processes, ensuring durability and excellence. Eventually, Donald’s sons, Christopher and Stephen, joined the business, and together, they embarked on an ambitious project: the creation of the SENSTEC anti-slip shower tray. The innovation behind #SENSTEC lies in its patented design - and a solution to an extremely dangerous problem: slips and falls in the shower. Using the same molding expertise perfected since the 1980s, the team, with the help of the aerospace tooling industry and 42 different prototypes, crafted a mold with thousands of tiny, perfectly sculpted protrusions - nicknamed “Dimples.” These dimples break the foot’s contact with the shower tray, offering unparalleled grip while remaining comfortable and easy to clean. After nearly five years of research and over 40 prototypes, the Hacketts brought SENSTEC to life. This award-winning innovation combines safety, comfort, and cleanability, earning recognition across the industry. GMP Architekten has made waves with their recent revamp of the iconic Alsterschwimmhalle in Hamburg, a project that not only reinforces the structure's historical significance but also redefines its role in the community.
