Partnering with companies on cutting-edge leadership development solutions that engage, align, and drive impactful results ✨ #Leadership #Upskilling #WorkplaceCulture #TalentManagement #Work-Life-Integration
As a strategy advisor, I'm often asked: “When is the right time to include other people in the process?” Without hesitation, my answer is always, “The more the merrier, the sooner the better.” If you want buy-in and clarity in your organization, then you have to do the hard work of involving people in your strategy in as many ways as possible. I can already hear the cynics saying, “You need someone who can make a decision. Everyone can’t be the decision-maker.” I agree completely! Involving others in the process isn’t about giving them decision-making authority. It’s about making them feel heard, seen, and appreciated. It’s about giving them space to share challenges candidly. It’s about opening your eyes to more than the perspective of the senior team. It’s about hearing new insights and allowing those to inform your decision-making. Launching a strategy process soon? Consider who isn’t at the table. Need some help? Shoot me a message! I love all things strategy. P.S. Thanks to Haley Cooper for a great podcast experience. I work with nonprofits to get buy in and belonging to do the right fundraising strategies and raise more revenue.
We all have metrics we need to meet BUT… I'm a fundraiser at heart. I know I have to meet dollar goals and I can get laser-focused on that. But I've been thinking a lot about this, especially in terms of fundraising or strategic plans. The thing is, we make decisions and then we tell people what they're supposed to do without getting their buy-in and belonging. And since I have a strategy advisor on the podcast this week, I took the opportunity and asked: How do you go about getting the buy-in and belonging from people in the organization so they’re able to carry out that strategy? Turn the sound on and listen to Kristin’s solution And for the full scope, check out this week’s episode: https://lnkd.in/gYHJaKeX #NonprofitLeadershipDevelopment #NonprofitStrategy #NonprofitDevelopment
