How do you build an cohesive, ambitious, empathetic, and high performing team? You buy matching bikes & go on 40km rides in Nordmarka before work, of course 🚲. Just kidding, it's slightly more complicated than that but at Curipod, team building activities such as biking in the forest or taking walks during the day while sparring are a very important part of building a high trust and performing working culture! For example, on today's ride we were able to spend time discussing high level strategy thinking about future product investments (Frikk), building out content (Jens), and product led sales strategy (Lexi). It's well known that sales and growth often pull in opposite directions, so taking the time to really understand all perspectives helps us empathize with each other on the difficult hard problems we are solving AND then move with even more speed once we're back in the office. If you are hiring, keep in mind: Building a strong team in the early stage is difficult because you need to find the right people. Focus on your short-term goals for the next 12 to 24 months. Do not worry about who you will need in 4 to 5 years, as you might not even be there by then. Hire slowly; do not rush the process. However, be prepared to make fast decisions if someone needs to be let go.

EM is the team that rapidly gets the resources to support the field to get the job done! We relieve the pressure through coordination and support, so our field teams can focus their energy where it matters most saving lives and serving the community!
