"Why did you leave #InsightGlobal and start, #StartsAlign?" I built this company because I wanted more freedom. I wanted freedom professionally and personally. I wanted to harness my entrepreneurial spirit to reach bounds of success I've only ever dreamed of achieving. I wanted to have no bounds on the type of business I could service, customers I could work with, or constraints on where/when I needed to conduct that business. (I'm talking being in an office 5-days/week or traveling every other week across the country). I wanted freedom to live where I want to live, work from home, spend time with my family and travel the world whenever I feel like it. For context, my fiancée is a Police Officer in a small township out east on Long Island. His hours are crazy/everchanging and I need to have a flexible schedule to be able to spend time with him and build our relationship/future together. (He has off maybe one weekend every few months...). Living out here does not allow me to be in an office in NYC, or travel to/from a major airport on a bi-weekly basis. I'm 2-2.5 hours away from NYC (driving) so a commute does not work and I'm 1.5-2 hours away from any major airport, so traveling was also out of the question. I was ready for the next best step in my career, which I thought was a promotion, but being constrained to an office or traveling to prove my worth/value just wasn't apart of that plan. I dedicated almost a decade of my life to building an ever-lasting impact at my last company, with no equity or stake in the game besides a weekly commission check for a portion of the revenue I brought in, and a small base salary. I intend to build an ever-lasting legacy for myself, my family and my growing team/partners in this business. I’m a free-spirited person with an open mind. As a salesperson I have a hunter/killer mentality, I hustle and find business in times when others struggle. As a leader, I enjoy leading by example, listening to my team, getting creative and having a game plan/strategy in place to attack any business we desire to conquer. I love winning, but I hate losing more. I'm competitive, loyal and love seeing my team flourish. Mentorship is something I strongly seek out for myself, and I enjoy nothing more than mentoring/strategizing with my team to help them thrive. My people are EVERYTHING to me and I will fight tooth & nail in their favor, always. Starts Align is KILLING IT and I’m looking for likeminded individuals to join my team.
