There are two close protection / personal security guards in the video footage. Both appear American, judging by the combination of their appearance, build, clothing, worn accessories, and mannerisms. If they are Americans, there are cascading legal ramifications for them. One of the most important ones relates to America’s designation of Hamas as a ‘foreign terrorist organisation’, which occurred on 8 October 1997. As a result of that designation, it is unlawful for an American citizen to knowingly provide ‘material support or resources’ to a foreign terrorist organisation. I note that ‘material support or resources’ includes providing any services such as training, expert advice or assistance as defined, or personnel including oneself, to a foreign terrorist organisation. If they are Americans, one of the likely reasons why Hamas uses them as security is to reduce the likelihood of America or Israel targeting Mashal, for the risk of killing or injuring the American citizens. https://lnkd.in/gYcS-9wZ

Delhi Tightens Security for Modi's Swearing-In: No-Fly Zone Enforced, Global Leaders Attend! As Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares for his swearing-in ceremony, Delhi has ramped up security with prohibitory orders and a no-fly zone. President Droupadi Murmu will administer the oath at Rashtrapati Bhavan's Forecourt on Sunday at 7:15 pm. After BJP's victory with 240 seats, Modi was elected NDA's Parliamentary leader and appointed prime minister-designate by President Murmu. With top officials reviewing security at Rashtrapati Bhavan, special measures are in place for foreign dignitaries like Bangladesh's Sheikh Hasina and Sri Lanka's Ranil Wickremasinghe. Enhanced protocols are also in effect at their designated hotels. From June 9-10, a no-fly zone prohibits sub-conventional aerial platforms like drones and paragliders to prevent threats from criminal or terrorist activities. Violators face penalties under Section 188 of the IPC. Due to these precautions, the weekly Change of Guard Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan is canceled on June 8. The rigorous security measures underscore the importance of the event as Modi embarks on his new term with the BJP-led NDA holding 293 seats and the INDIA bloc securing 234. Authorities are tracing the culprits, arrested one suspect, and working on regulations to put offenders on a no-fly list. The inter-ministerial meeting headed by civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu was called urgently after 10 Indian aircraft got bomb threats in less than 48 hours. While all of them were found to be hoax, it resulted in diversion and delays with one Air India aircraft from Delhi to Chicago diverting to Iqaluit airport in Canada. Top officials of National Investigation Agency (NIA), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) were part of the meeting. We are seized of the matter and are working with other security agencies and state police to find the culprits as early as possible. The Indian skies are completely safe and aircraft were released by security agencies after thorough checks. All these flights landed safely, many of them without any delay,” Zulfiqar Hasan, Director General of BCAS told ET.
