If you're a rapidly emerging brand, then you need to partner with awesome brokers to best service your retailers... and I believe Market Performance Group is one of the best in the business!! Here's my testimonial: We love our partnership with MPG. By and large, this team has been so good to us. We see them as an extension of the Cheers team and work closely with them for all of our FDMC retailers. If you're a new supplier, not working with a broker is not an option. New suppliers = too much work for retailers. Those merchants don't have the time to show you the ropes... they need you to get coaching elsewhere. I also don't believe that suppliers should pursue a strategy where they are trying to ride multiple brokers across various channels and retailers. I.e.: "We want the best broker for each retailer—regardless of who it is." It's more ideal to have a one-stop shop for all of your FDMC accounts. This ends up being much better operationally for everyone on the whole. We look forward to seeing all of our partners/friends at MPG next week for our HBC "Super Bowl" of the year... National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) TSE! 🥂🍾

3 Powerful Lessons from a Fascinating Event Recently, I had the pleasure of attending an event packed with insightful takeaways. While there were many, here are three that really struck me: 1. Customer Love Drives Success, Not Shareholder Greed: Forget obsessing over shareholder value. Focus on building a product customers adore. When you achieve that, shareholder value naturally follows. Case in point: PACCAR, with 80 consecutive years of net profit! Prioritizing customer love is the recipe for sustained success. 2. Truck Stops, Treasures, and Trucker Talk: Preston Feight, CEO of a prominent company, has a unique habit. During family trips, he stops at truck stops to chat with drivers. Those conversations? Pure gold! He gathers invaluable feedback that fuels his engineering team. Talk about firsthand insights! 3. The Powerful Echo of Mentorship: Great leaders listen to their mentors, and those mentors significantly impact the next generation. Teachers, parents, and grandparents: your influence shapes the leaders of tomorrow. Remember, the impact of good mentorship echoes far and wide. A huge thank you to Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University for hosting such a thought-provoking event!
We’re honored to host Preston Feight, CEO of PACCAR, at Seattle University for the 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 this Wednesday! Don't miss this chance to gain insights from a top industry leader. This event is free and open to the public! Register to save your seat and submit your questions: https://lnkd.in/erXmZxx9

Should I enter the same award each year? Have you ever seen on a company’s website or in their sales materials that they won awards several years ago, but haven’t won an award since? It doesn’t leave the best impression and begs the question – has something happened since that time that has made the company less successful? While you may not need to enter the exact same awards every year (that will depend on the award and the likelihood of a repeat win), achieving some awards recognition each year is a great strategy to showcase consistent excellence over time. We recently gathered our sales and marketing teams for the first commercial conference since 2017. During the conference, the team reflected on achievements in previous years, analysed the strengths and weaknesses in our approach, and shared our plans for the future and how to further grow with our customers. There was a specific focus on showcasing our commercial excellence initiative, which is a strong pillar of our transformation program. It was a great few days for the McBride team to come together and focus our attention on our commercial goals. #CommercialConference #CommercialExcellence #Transformation
