LABOUR LAW NEWS: As handed down on the 11th of April 2024, the Labour Court has decided in the case of Elworth v Lexinexis (Pty) Ltd, that a criminal conviction is an arbitrary ground for discrimination if an individuals criminal history is not relevant to a job position applied for yet said history is the reason they did not receive the job position.
