#Worklifebalance is more crucial than ever during the #genAI revolution. I don’t think I’ve discovered the magic formula, but one of the things I’ve discovered is the need for a change of scenary, spending time with family and friends and deep focus time to dive deeper into both your problem space and solution space. Given the type of work I’m engaged in I often find myself at the 4th dimensional intersection of Innovation and Coordination. You’re constantly weighing the trade offs and doing your best not to paint your solutions into corners. And you’re doing this in concert with dozens of other brilliant minds. And trust me you want this to be as harmonious and melodic as possible. Consensus is your true north, silver bullet and holy grail all wrapped in one. And just like they say on the airplane safety announcements…you can’t take care of others if you don’t take care of yourself first. Shout out to #AustrianAirlines for putting the lead on the pedal and getting me back to the States before the fireworks started in San Diego, to #Starlink for providing connectivity regardless of how remote you may be and of course #StatusNeo for flexing with skilled cadres of #SDEs, #SREs, #DEs, #MLEnginners and #DeliveryManagers on four continents to deliver all that we knocked out this last month.
