I always find that this time of year a bit of a challenge. This is the fourth summer of immersive. and every year, we reach a point where the conversations we have been having with potential new clients fade as people push back to ‘after the holidays’. For the last three years, I have taken the view that August is a month to rebuild the strategy, think about September, and make Q4 successful… In 2021, this worked really well, but the market was very different. As I binge-watched Netflix's 'Drive to Survive' Season 7, I couldn't help but draw parallels between the high-speed drama on and off the track and the wild ride of start-up life, especially when it comes to building the dream team be it any industry in any country! Just like in Formula One, where each team member has a crucial role in getting the driver across that finish line, start-ups thrive when everyone's firing on all cylinders. It's all about understanding the unique skills, values, and goals of each team member and ensuring they're all aligned for that podium finish!  Think about it: whether you're the tire-scorching driver or the strategist calling the shots from the pit, every member of the team brings something special to the table. And just like how a driver relies on their crew for that perfect pit stop, leaders in the start-up world lean on their teams for support and top-notch performance.  Success in both racing and business is a team effort, and not reliant solely on individuals. The speakers shared wealth of knowledge that left me feeling inspired and motivated for growth.
