Growing demand for safety, comfort and energy efficiency require new ideas for tire tread design. Realizing these ideas requires prototypes, but the processing time for a single tire in prototype production is about one week. To shorten this time-consuming manual work, JENOPTIK's Laser Processing Team created JENscan® Tire Technology, a prototyping machine that uses laser processing to enable rapid prototyping of tires.
