There have been many conversations about writing risk assessment and method statements and what not to add in. "But that's just common sense, why would I add that information " Remember common sense is only common once you know. Don't write assessments just because it makes sense to you. Your knowledge and experience came because someone showed you or told you. ‼️ Registered Training Organisations ‼️ A Registered Training Organisation (RTO) is a training provider registered by a State or National regulatory body. Only RTOs are able to deliver and/or assess nationally recognised training. When choosing an RTO for completing your certificates, it's important to make sure your qualification will be accepted by Police Licensing. . OURS ARE! . The importance of security training cannot be overstated. And finding a quality, reliable security training provider comes as a challenge. We are getting a lot of people with current certificates coming through our channels, hoping that their qualification is Police Licensed approved... but it's not always the case. ⁉️ WHY CHOOSE US? ⁉️ 📌 We are always up-to-date with the latest regulation updates. 📌 We know our trainers are some of the best subject matter experts and trainers in the industry. . Doing your course with the wrong or unapproved provider will cost you money if you have to do the course again. ⁉️Why would you have to redo you ask .... ?? ⁉️ For example, our Cert III Security courses are 120 hours face to face and are not done online. Course units include 'to carry, operate and maintain semi-automatic pistols for security purposes'... you can't do this stuff online and expect to be qualified. How will you practice using a weapon? Units like this need to be done in safe, secure, licenced areas, by experienced and qualified trainers watching what you do and guiding you as you learn. If we know you did the course in your own time and not face to face, you won't be credited for either for these units. . Question for my ICS instructors: I'm currently in the ICS TtT course this week and some in my class are interested in whether a social media page exists that is just a bunch of pro-active ICS instructors sharing when updates happen to the course, providing mentorship to eachother, having general ICS-based conversation, etc. It doesn't need to be FEMA sanctioned or official; no pressure - just instructors supporting instructors. Does anyone know of anything like this? If not, would anybody be interested in seeing this happen? Comment so I can track you, if necessary.
