Working remotely does NOT mean: Sitting in front of your laptop for 7-8 hours a day and sending messages frequently so that everyone knows that you're working. Nope. It doesn't work that way. The only thing that matters is results. Time management is crucial for remote and hybrid workers. It helps to prioritise the most important tasks against the easiest. It helps maintain a healthy work-life balance. AND it prevents burnout. So it's important to be intentional with your time. How you choose to spend your time can impact your day in a positive or negative way. Here are a few tips to help you with your time management: → Identify your priorities. Be deliberate about what you choose to focus on. → Build your weekly schedule in advance, blocking time on your calendar for the most important tasks. → Create a dedicated workspace that can help you work comfortably, efficiently and focused. → KitKat. When you feel that you are going around in circles, take a 5 minute break. Stretch, look out the window, make a cup of tea. Instagram is the opposite of a break. Do you agree? 👇

You're right! That's definitely not what working remotely is about. That's the sort of thing on-site employees tend to do! 😜 Working remotely should be about being task oriented and working towards getting results. It's quality over quantity.
