In Mahabharat, Dhritrastra, the blind king favoured his 100 sons against 5 Pandavs ignoring the principal of Doing Right Things, as a result everything on his side got destructed. Understanding some of his conversations, we understand he knew what is Right, probably he could not manage his conflicts Question therefore is, did he not have good advisors and answers to that is yes and no both He had advisor like Vidur, epitome of righteousness on one side and Shakuni on other side, who had every wrong advise to offer of course for reason and colors. Most often as individual, families, corporates, we find ourselves in the shoes of the King, who has Conflicts and therefore Right or Wrong choices to make. In this context, important questions we may ask ourselves are; Are we aware about what is Right? Are we aware about our conflicts?? Are we activating Vidur over Shakuni i.e. Right vs. Wrong?? Do we have Right advisors?? Do we have adequate checks in place to address conflicts in Right directions??
