We are in the ER. Our 2-month-old Grandson is struggling to breathe. Here's what I do... I  hyper-focused on everything. Words. Smells. Monitors. Expressions. Micro-expressions. Every sense is functioning at 1,000%. Why such hyper-focus? Besides my intense interest in our Grandson's well-being... It's what I do. It's the way my brain is wired. I consume all available info. Extract every ounce of meaning. Ask probing questions. Consider implications and scenarios. Then... Envision options that favor MY desired outcomes. Imagine this kind of focus on your business. Every sense is grabbing info from every resource. Nothing is censored out. Everything has value. (Maybe not for today's decisions, but value nonetheless.) Is there anything you can't accomplish? This example shows some of the 'Digging,' 'Investigating,' 'Interpreting,' and 'Creating' skills of Peripheral Thinking™. You can access everything you need to achieve anything you can imagine. Take it all in. p.s. Our Grandson is doing well. p.s.s. I did not interfere with the medical staff's ability to do their work. I fully supported them and am grateful for their assistance. p.s.s.s. Despite what some have said, this is not intended as self-aggrandizement. It's meant to encourage readers to expand their awareness in all situations.

Therefore they 'enforce' their goals which costs even more energy in the form of collateral damage.
