Thank you Patrizia Fogheri for sharing this quote and your inspirational work around the LATAM P&O strategy 🙏🏻 Considering that 80% of strategy activation fails, it serves as a good reminder that strategy is something that needs careful investment in time and resources to make it come to life. It’s the roadmap that helps us achieve our long term goals and align people around our common purpose. Therefore, we’re making a big effort in Region Germany to invest time in getting it right 🎯 ✅ Communicating our strategy clearly ✅ Providing the necessary leadership support ✅ Establishing accountability ✅ Involving our employees in defining how we achieve our strategic ambitions ✅ Monitoring progress and impact We have set high ambitions for ourselves and it won’t necessarily be easy to get there. But the thought of serving many more patients in the future and contributing to a healthier society, is the fuel that will drive my motivation to contribute to this growth journey 🚀

How to ensure a global strategy is translated into daily life in affiliates ? 👉 First it needs a strong & solid strategy & I am proud that we have the WIN WITH CARE strategy for Beiersdorf. 👉 Second it needs a great team & I am even more than sure that we have this here in #Beiersdorf Adriatic - being ready to embrace the strategy and to act upon it. 👉 Third – means last but for sure not least – it needs the right kick off to get started and to commit to live up to it. Following this we had last week our traditional annual “management outing” in which we get together to reconnect amongst all Adriatic leaders, to breath and think together about what is ahead and around of us – operationally but also on topics being more on meta level. This meta level for this year of course was dedicated to our new strategy. And very importantly we do not just think and talk but we leveraged the moment to deeply digest, to translate and to then commit to respective impactful action in line with the strategy. I enjoyed this “outing” very much and I am excited that we succeeded in pinning down actions & major milestones in our commitment to translate & integrate strategy into our to daily lifes in our affiliates so that – pls see picture – ☝ we will reach new heights & keep winning even when wind is blowing. 3 things I want to achieve as new MD! After being appointed the new role of Managing Director at Found, one of the first things I did was sit down and began planning my goals. Many sprung to mind, but I’ve narrowed this down to 3 key things… 1. Strategy ♟️ Become more thoughtful on how to get the most out of my team in their separate roles (not only commercial/operational goals, but personal ones too) 2. Impact 💥 Driving Found to make a lasting impact in the industry where needed (the world needs more “good guys”!). 3. Development 📈 Discover what I need to do personally in order to be as influential as possible as a leader. I’m interested to know from other MD’s and new execs, what other goals have you set for yourself and your team?
