Proud to Be a Part of India's Energy Transition. Our MD Pratik Agarwal recently visited our Haridwar EHV Cable factory and saw firsthand the dedication and skill of our team, working hard to create a vital piece of India's energy future. He believes India can easily become a global leader in this space, which is currently dominated by European, Korean, and Chinese firms. Especially HVDC and Submarine cables are in extremely limited supply, with most plants worldwide sold out for the next six years. Pratik is confident that the Indian government will recognize this need and aggressively promote domestic manufacturing of these components. Our Haridwar factory is more than just a manufacturing facility; it's a hub of innovation and expertise, committed to meeting the growing demand for reliable, sustainable energy solutions. #MakeInIndia #PowerCable #HVDC #submarinecables #MadeInIndia #climatechange Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)
A visit to our Haridwar EHV Cable factory filled me with joy and excitement. I often wondered, how will India help the world in the flight against climate change? Will we simply consume technologies and products from the rest of the world for our own energy transition or can we actually contibute meaningfully to the global net-zero supply chain. One such critical product which is expected to be in acute shortage is power cables. India can easily be a global leader in this space which is currently dominated by Europeans and a few Korean / Chinese firms. Especially HVDC and Submarine cables have extremely limited supply and most plants in the world are sold out for next 6 years! I am sure the Indian government is taking note and will aggressively promote domestic manufacturing of these components. Meanwhile, back in Haridwar at our cable factory, our team is operating a world-class facility and contributing in our own humble way.
