Have you ever wondered what a Crime Scene Cleaners day to day work is like? Our blog discusses public perception, challenging the often-considered-taboo subject of Crime Scene Cleaning and actual nature of our work. "Many of us will have seen a TV programme or movie featuring crime scenes, scenes of traumatic injuries, or even serious illness. You may have been unfortunate enough to have seen such a thing in real life. But have you ever thought about the people who clean up crime scenes?" https://lnkd.in/eBPWgidU

A neighbour of mine recently faced a troubling situation where her school-going daughter was being harassed by some guys near her school campus every day. They would wait for her, pass creepy comments, and follow her around, making her feel unsafe. It reached a point where she couldn’t take it anymore and finally told her mom. Here’s what we did: Filed a police complaint ASAP. Harassment and stalking are serious offenses under the new Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (formerly IPC): Section 354D: Stalking Section 509: Insulting modesty of a woman Section 341: Wrongful restraint Section 506: Criminal intimidation Plus, Section 67 of the IT Act covers online harassment, in case it goes digital. Gathered evidence: Neighbors and shopkeepers helped with video footage of the incidents, which made our case rock solid. Result: Two of the guys were arrested, and the rest have disappeared. The girl can finally walk to class in peace. Takeaway: If you or someone you know is facing any kind of harassment, don’t stay silent. The laws are there to protect you. Speak up, gather evidence, and file a complaint. You’ll be surprised how fast things can change when you take action. #safetyfirst #womenempowerment #legalrights #harassment

Six Ways A Victim Is Abused Post Separation #postseparationabuse #domesticviolence #conflict #legal #abuse Any domestic abuse that occurs in a relationship is about power and control. Abusers terrorize and intimidate their targets they also confuse and devalue you as a person. They use the relationship for their own purpose. Don’t make excuses for their bad behaviour. Post-separation abuse is a continuation of the power and control dynamic that was present in the relationship. Abuse Can Get Ramped Up At the termination of a relationship, the abuse can get ramped up as they realise that they are losing power and control over their target. They can become angry and enraged as they hate losing control and power over their primary target. Post-separation the abuser can seek to punish, hurt or regain control and get revenge. Watch my video to discover more about six ways a victim is abused post-separation and things that can help you.
