There’s a long way between a first draft and a published piece Four tips to edit to get a polished piece from the first draft 1. Don’t edit right after you finish writing Leave it alone for a while and then take a look with a fresh pair of eyes.  For me, a gap of a day between writing and editing works. 2. Fix the obvious errors first Fix the spelling and Grammarly suggestions before you edit further. 3. Read the copy out loud.  I hate doing this.  But it works.  It helps you spot problems that would have otherwise skipped you. 4. Check if sentences and paragraphs connect It’s not easy to describe this.  But you want a sentence to connect with the one after and the one before.  The sentences should make sense.  The same goes for paragraphs. #Writing #Editing #ContentCreation #ContentWriter
