We received softball sized hail at our home late Saturday night - an absolutely crazy experience and, of course, a catalyst for property damage.
Early Sunday morning, the roofing & siding companies started to parade through and were met with grumbles & groans from several impacted.
I was a part of a few of these discussions to which I responded, "hey, give 'em a break, they're doing their jobs." At one point, I received the following response, "you're right, they're just sales."
"They're just sales." This phrase often diminishes the immense value the sales community brings. WE are so much more than that!
WE provide value to our customers.
WE educate and consult through the process.
WE clearly identify next steps and expectations ensuring alignment along the way.
I saw this yesterday. The people I spoke with were genuinely there to help.
Certainly, there are both exceptional and less-than-stellar organizations out there. As consumers, it's crucial to research and make informed decisions based on our specific needs. Let's not unfairly label all based on a few experiences.
