What makes eXtremeDB for HPC different? Many database systems include one or two of the same performance-enhancing features such as in-memory data storage, columnar data handling, fast native APIs as well as high performance SQL, and a short execution path. But you’d be hard-pressed to find all of them in one database system, and solutions offering some of these features may also lack “real” database capabilities such as ACID transactions. In contrast, eXtremeDB offers all of them plus unique features that offer the fastest possible time series data and the lowest possible latency. Learn more: www.mcobject.com
A DBMS is one of those *rare* times. Offering more features than any other DBMS, platform independent eXtremeDB’s small code size (starting from 150K) reduces device hardware costs, without sacrificing speed or reliability. Learn more: https://bit.ly/365j6w8 #extremedb #database #embeddedsystems

Learn more about: - B-Trees for common sorting and searches, insertions, and deletions. - R-Trees for geospatial indexing (common in GPS/navigation systems) - Hash tables for quickly locating a single unique index entry - Patricia trie index which speeds searches in networking and telephony applications - Trigram indexes are ideal for text searches when the exact spelling of the target object is not precisely known. - Custom indexes or b-trees that allow the application to define the collating sequence of entries; this is useful in implementing soundex algorithm searches, for example - KD-Trees or k-dimensional trees, for spatial and pattern-matching tasks and in applications where query predicates contain various combinations of object fields (for example, to construct Query-By-Example, or QBE features)

Progress To move forward we need vision and first step. Those are the most important thing to start our journey. Having a great vision will help to determine which path we will take. Stepping ahead, is the actualization of the vision. Nothing is perfect from the start. There must be some flaws on the steps we take, but we still have the time to correct and improve them as long we are willing. And here I am with Signal18, we are striving for the best. We have commitment to continuously improve our software, so DBAs will be able to do their job without any hassles. Signal18 provides solutions for your databases, which compatible with HAProxy, ProxySQL and other proxies. Try our software and give your feedback. Signal18 has open source edition which is fully free. If you want to help us growing, you can subscribe for our support with competitive price. (it's cheap compared to other licensed software for HA and you get support from experienced DBAs). Never say no to try and compare something new, you might be shocked that there are many unknown good stuffs.
