Here's how you know... You have a #team not individuals. First, let's define #team. A team is a group of people who work together to achieve a shared goal or purpose! Now, let's define individual. An individual is single, separate. We almost NEVER have turnover. For that reason we almost NEVER hire new sales consultants. In many stores the new person is ignored or worse, taught bad habits on purpose by other sales consultants (so I have been told). We're growing so we needed 1 more person. We hired them, they started and that's when the #team took over. There was no resentment, no trickery. But, there was teaching. Immediately the top two performers grabbed the new sales consultant and took her aside. This wasn't that type of aside... this was a "we're here to help with anything you need" type of aside. Today, she sold a car. Immediately the #team stood by, making sure she had all her questions answered and that she looked like a seasoned professional to her customer. That is #teamwork. Fun fact, the managers never had to get involved or ask. This was literally sales consultants helping other sales consultants from the start. #proud #team #teamwork #bethechange

The power of follow-up. You'll want to read this one! 👇 Someone I know purchased a bottle of tequila at the beginning of the year. The bottle was a gift. They don't drink tequila themselves. Bottle ordered, information taken. Simple. The store confirmed that the bottle had arrived. The bottle was picked up and paid for. This was simply the purchase of a bottle of tequila. You'd imagine the story stops there. But, you'd be wrong! Roughly six months later the buyers phone rang. It was the liquor store! Following up! "We are just following up. We assume you've finished or are nearly finished with the first bottle and thought you'd like to order another one?!" WOW! That was the impression the buyer had. He was so impressed that he did buy another one! Remember, the buyer didn't and still doesn't drink tequila. Yet, the experience was so out of the ordinary (in a good way). That they bought a second bottle! That right there is the power of follow-up! Moral of the story, never skip a step. How did I get 6,000+ followers?! 👇 1. Positivity 2. Honesty 3. Transparency When I started posting on LinkedIn I really didn't think anyone would read so much as a single post. Never did I think 1 year later my connection and follower count would have grown from 568 in September of 2023 to over 6,000 in September of 2024. Here's what I learned along the way... Social media is an incredibly powerful tool. Social media is often filled with negativity. Social media is often filled with "look at me" posts. Often people are only willing to post #success not #failure. When I started posting I promised myself and others I would stick to 3 main posting principles. 1. Positivity 2. Honesty 4. Transparency Through this strategy I've met some incredible people through LinkedIn all with a similar strategy. 👇 To break out of the mold. To spread positivity. To tell the truth whether it is good or bad and to openly share success but also failure so we can grow a community that works together rather than against one another.
